While I was doing everything but posting on my blog I made a couple wedding related creations that I'd like to share!
I made the cupcakes that were served at our wedding as a secondary dessert - they were vanilla cake with a vanilla buttercream (my all time favourite flavour). I baked them in super cute orange with white polka dot liners and with the help of my bridesmaids finished them off with orange giant sized non-pareils. I have yet to see a photo :( When I find one, I will be posting it.
#2 were the cake pops I made as wedding favours for the guests. They were inspired by Bakerella's book and turned out beautifully. My mom hand made all the tags and my bridesmaids had the super fun task of wrapping them in cellophane and tying each with a bow! We even used one of each cake pops (one bride, one groom) for our wedding cake toppers.
I had a wedding cake made (I'm not that ambitious) by Bobbette and Belle and it was absolutely wonderful!
